At the same time, memorials were unveiled. Here mention may be made, for example, of the memorial to Czechoslovak airmen honoring the fallen between the years 1939 - 1945, and which is located in Prague´s náměstí Svobody and implemented by the Association of Czechoslovak Foreign Airmen 1939 - 1945, a plaque for A/M Karel JANOUŠEK, on a house he lived in, in the street U Železné lávky in Prague, a memorial to Czechoslovak airmen in Prostějov, a plaque on the house where W/Cdr Alois VAŠÁTKO, DFC, DSO was born in Čelákovice. In the Olšanské hřbitovy, a grave was built for the Czechoslovak former RAF members.
